Markaz-e-Fahmedeen

Markaz-e-Fahmedeen

“Read in the name of your Lord who created, created man from a clinging form. Read! Your Lord is the Most Generous, who taught by means of the pen; taught man what he did not know.”

The first verse from the Quran addresses humankind to seek knowledge and does not surpass any statement or action denying women the right to education. Prophet Muhammad, (S.A.W), came when the patriarchal Arab society was rife with abhorrent practices against girls. He preached Islam and liberated women and girls through education.

Many other hadith emphasizes on education such as “Seeking knowledge is mandatory for every Muslim”

We have witnessed Hazrat Khadija (RA) and Hazrat Aisha (RA) as remarkable women in Islamic history. Bibi Khadija the first wife of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), was a wealthy tradeswoman, the richest woman in Mecca who exported goods as far away as Syria and had hired many males for her trading business.

Aishah Binte Abu Bakr,(R.A) the youngest wife of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), had a great love for learning and is to date well known for her intelligence and sharp sense of judgment.

It is with the education of women and men that Islam witnessed a society with critical thinkers and scholars, in twenty-three years.

With the ambition of imparting Islamic education, Fahmadeen ladies is an operational arm of Baitussalam educational programs where we spread deeni education. Markaz -e- Fahmedeen carries forward the message of spreading Islamic education through various courses.
